Make People Smile.

First and foremost I just wanted to say I wish I could use ChatGPT to write this but it does not understand my sarcasm just yet.

I've wanted to start a newsletter for a long time. I wanted to share stories and information about things that have helped me in both my personal life and business. I’m starting to really fall in love with story telling and I made a promise to myself to be better at it this year. Some weeks will differ from others; at times I will discuss what helped my mental health and other times I will discuss 3 things that increased revenue in one of my businesses. Today, I want to talk about something extremely dear to my heart. MAKING PEOPLE SMILE.

I have always believed that making people smile leads to success. Success in your marriage, your friendship, and anything else one can imagine. You may laugh while reading that but I think it is one of the most—if not the most—important thing an entrepreneur can learn. When meeting people in my line of work, I repeatedly ask myself the same question: "what can I do to win this person's day?"

Let me explain. This person spends the entire day talking to, meeting with, and spending time with many different people. What can I do so this person will lay their head on the pillow at night and say, "Wow, I really enjoyed my time with Lev today." I want to be the highlight of their day. I want to listen to their problems. I want to celebrate their wins, I want to be so invested in what they have to say in that short amount of time that I spend with them. I want to make them smile.

Understanding how to brighten someone’s day not only brings a smile to that person’s face but it feeds your soul as well. You never know what someone is going through - “be the light you wish to see in others.”
